History Committee

BCA Histories

The role of the History Committee is to collect, preserve, and make available the history of the Bulldog breed, the Bulldog Club of America (BCA), its members and other contributors to the fancy. In addition, it gives guidance to the Division’s Historians, who in turn mentor the member Club’s Historians.

After the annual Historian’s Report is accepted by the Executive Committee and Councilors, the documents are placed in the domain of the National Archives. Similar actions are reported by the Divisions and Club levels.

2. 2005 History Project

The current BCA Historian set in motion a project to bring the “past into the present”. The project is to collect copies of all member club histories and make them available to all BCA members by publishing them on the BCA web site.
